The Eric Reyes Foundation is a non-profit organization established to engage at-risk youth through community involvement. The organization is committed to the future of our youth by inspiring students with academic resources helping them achieve his or her academic potential. We empower the students with education to become lifelong learners with positive goals. Our mission is to engage youth an provide education resources to help them achieve their academic potential.
OUR STORY
Eric Reyes was an exceptional young man on the cusp of graduating from Jesse Bethel High school. At 18 years old, he maintained a 4.0 Grade point average and earned a Superintendents Honor Roll award all while employed at Kohls Department store. He was an amazing young man looking forward to attending college and succeeding in life. He was a mentor and leader among his peers.
On February 6, 2016 Eric and his cousin were in his car at intersection in Vallejo, he became the city’s second homicide
Victim of the year and this case remains under investigation
Though his life was cut short, his heart lives on. Eric’s passion was to help others succeed in their education and strive for better future, and that is the core philosophy of the foundation.

YOUTH DIVERSION PROGRAM
Restoring youth diversion programs is a big undertaking, we need your help.

We provide school supplies at the beginning of the school year for students in need, and incentives and rewards for those who achieving better school grades
During the school year who are in the tutoring program.

After School Tutoring Program
This after school tutoring program provider free tutoring session at their school site for students who need one- on- one help with their homework and assignments. Tutoring will help increase students motivation and attitude so he or she is able to reach full academic potential
College Scholarships
Our scholarships start a $500 and above, and are awarded to High school students who have demonstrated their commitment to perform at a higher level.
We look at their accomplishments on community service, school grades, and the challenges they had to overcome during their school year.
