Eric Reyes was an exceptional young man on the cusp of graduating from Jesse Bethel High school. At 18 years old, he maintained a 4.0 Grade point average and earned a Superintendents Honor Roll award all while employed at Kohls Department store. He was an amazing young man looking forward to attending college and succeeding in life. He was a mentor and leader among his peers.
Eric’s life was cut short but his heart lives on. On February 6, 2016 he became the city’s second homicide victim of the year, and this case remains under investigation.
